"Belonging is Good Business"

The National Association of Insurance Women (International) is an association of insurance professionals dedicated to development of leaders in the insurance industry. Nearly 10,000 members belong to local associations across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, England, Virgin Islands, Australia, and Africa. There are fifty state provincial councils to serve its members and Kentucky State Association of Insurance Women is one of those fifty.

Just a few of the many benefits of membership in NAIW:

*Earn continuing education credits, gain technical knowledge, improve presentation skills and network with other industry members at local, state, regional and national meetings.

*NAIW offers the Certified Professional Insurance Woman/Man (CPIW/CPIM) designation and publishes educational programs designed to provide training, improve self-confidence, and leadership abilities.

*Today's Insurance Professionals, a quarterly magazine, focuses on industry information on personal and professional development.

*NAIW now! is an association newsletter for members.

*NAIW members may compete for a number of awards including Rookie of the Year, Claims Professional of the Year, Insurance Professional of the Year, and Communicate with Confidence Speak-off.

*Agency Countersignature Referral Service - Headquarters maintains a file of members' agencies willing to countersign for particular insurance company products.

*Financial Services and Discounts - Members may secure credit cards at competitive rates, discounts on long distance telephone service, rental car rates, liability insurance and textbooks and study materials for the Insurance Institute of America programs.
